Help Give This Book Life

There is a lot of content in the world right now. It can be difficult to know where to invest our time. Before we dive into something, we want to know what it is an that we are going to enjoy it. We need social proof.

Reviews are critical to a book’s success.

It doesn’t matter how engaging the book’s characters are, or how nice the cover looks, or how great the story is. If a book doesn’t have reviews, people won’t give it a chance.

Here is where you come in. Would you review Mencken and the Monsters?

As of my writing this, the book has 15 reviews. My goal is to get that number up to 100.

I don’t want you to review the book to stroke my ego. This isn’t about me.

I believe in this story. I think the world needs diverse superheroes who live in lower socio-economic classes. I think the world needs stories about heroes who care about the poorest among us. I think the world needs to engage with how battles for political power effect everyday people who are simply fighting to survive.

If you’ve read Mencken and the Monsters, will you take a few minutes to review it?

Here are a few of my favorite reviewer comments so far:

“I began reading Mencken the Monsters expecting a traditional urban fantasy novel, but it surprised me at each turn, refusing to fit into the clichés, keeping me guessing till the last page.”

“This book does an amazing job at creating a world where anything is possible, with characters who are believable (even when they are extraordinary). It eloquently combines urban, political thriller, superhero action, and character-driven plots. This is a great read, I can’t wait for more from the author!”

“I usually don’t read ‘Urban Fantasy’ books but I decided to try with Mencken and the Monsters. I was not disappointed. This story kept me guessing until the end. I read this story in a few hours and then read it again at a slower pace.”

“The deeper and deeper I got into the book the harder it was for me to put down. I got entangled in the characters and their stories and wanted to know what was coming. I blame this book for several nights of less sleep then I typically get!!”

If you’ve read Mencken and the Monsters, help me get it in front of new readers by leaving it a review. It will only take a few minutes of your time.

Thank you in advance!
